Meet Bobbie

Bobbie Clayton is a lifelong resident of Willis, and a proud graduate of Willis High School. She brings decades of experience in public service, accountability, and civil rights enforcement to her campaign.

Bobbie earned her undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University and later completed a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She retired from the United States Department of Education after 22 years as a Civil Rights Investigator, where she enforced federal laws prohibiting discrimination in elementary, secondary, and postsecondary educational institutions, working to ensure equal access and fairness for students, families, and educators.

In addition to her federal service, Bobbie also served the State of Texas as a Civil Rights Investigator with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Human Resources Department. In that role, she investigated discrimination and employment-related civil rights matters, reinforcing her commitment to justice, due process, and equal opportunity under the law.

Bobbie is running to be a strong voice for Texans, with a focus on strengthening public education, supporting responsible gun safety laws that protect families and children, and advocating for fair, lawful, and humane immigration policies. She believes leadership is a calling rooted in faith, integrity, accountability, and service.
